I love to Spring garden because after being cooped up all Winter I just need to see things grow. Therapy is what I like to call it. So, this year I decided to start things a little earlier. Not that I was going a little crazier, but mostly because I had the energy and motivation to do so.
I bought a seed starter box and some dirt, planted peas (our favorite), and ta-da! Three days ago they started to sprout. Now the first one out is 2 inches high. I swear if you just watched for a few minutes you could actually see them grow. My children and I are having a blast seeing new ones pop their little heads up.

The bottom picture shows that one side has come up while the other is a bit slow. We decided that it is because we put it in the window sill and the part closest to the window is too cold. So now we've moved it away and on a table next to the window. Already today one or two are making their way up.
The next step will be to transplant into a bigger container. Stay tuned:)
