Family Camp in the Fall

This one is looking toward Zuni where we camp.
If you come to "Family Camp" with us at Maple Dell you might be interested in these photos.  This time of year it is magical there.  Sooooooo beautiful!  I wish we were all there together camping and eating delicious dutch oven cooking right now.

Let the mountains shout for joy!

D & C 128:23  Let the mountains shout for joy, and all ye valleys cry aloud; and all ye seas and dry lands tell the wonders of your Eternal King?...

I couldn't stand it this morning...I had to run out in my pj's and capture this beautiful moment.  I wish I could just roll in it, and soak it all in.  It is so amazing.

A little mud won't hurt you.

This weekend me and two of my children did "The Dirty Dash".  I am on the far left with my arms up and C is in front of me.  do you like our white shirts?  Lol!

The is G flying over the hay bales.  There will be no picture of me doing this.  I was probably so fast the camera couldn't catch me.   Or Dallen was laughing so hard he fell to the ground.:)

My hotty sister-in-law Susan with the flaming red hair and me happy we are alive after that big hill.

Here I am at the bottom of the awesome water slide.  Felt like sandpaper.  Gotta love it.

G and C showing their climbing skills.

G showing his muscles.

G lovin the water slide

G, C, Susan, Me and K getting ready to jump right in.  At this point it doesn't really matter, right?

Me in the center, and G to the right, laughing his head off because he just pushed me down, and I couldn't get up.  Mud...up to my neck.  Yuk!

Me, C and G looking glorious at the finish line.
Would I do it again?  Sure...as long as I get to push G down into the muddy muck.  If you click on the pictures it makes them bigger.  You probably already know this tho:).  You'll want to get all the details of this one.

A great idea for us.

I wish we used our bicycles more around here.  I love the bike trails we have built and hope they continue to make more.  Check out this link to see how they do it in beautiful Denmark.

Asparagus-and-Potato Flatbread | Everyday Food with Sarah Carey

This is delicious!  So much fun to have something different.  I didn't have any goat cheese so I used pepper-jack.  Hope you like it.

Last week we said farewell for two years to our oldest son.  He will be serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints in Copenhagen, Denmark.  What a heart wrenching thing to watch him walk away.  But, at the very same time so much excitement for the growth he will experience.  So proud of him, for the sacrifice he is making for the Lord to share his testimony of His gospel to the people of Denmark.
