Awe and Ahhh!!!

I think it's time for another post on gratitude. This is what I see out my windows on January mornings. Those mountains are awe - inspiring! They give me hope somehow. See the gray dull down below. Good to look up sometimes. The light on the peaks are eye candy in a sometimes mundane day. Ahhh...everything will be ok.

Gratitude

Day 14 - Walk 30 minutes

I thought I would share something very nice today. It's been on my mind for awhile. For just over a month I've been substitute teaching at the high school. It wasn't always the best experience, which is what you would expect to hear. But, I was surprised at how kind some of them were to me. Every day when they would leave class some would say, "Thank you". At first it really caught me off guard, and wondered if it was sarcastic, but after awhile I noticed they really meant it. Some of them, on their own time, made me treats and others made the effort to tell me that they appreciated all of the time I spent.

We hear about so many sad and scary things happening with the youth these days, I wanted you to know that I think the majority of them are pretty awesome.
