Gratitude

Day 14 - Walk 30 minutes

I thought I would share something very nice today. It's been on my mind for awhile. For just over a month I've been substitute teaching at the high school. It wasn't always the best experience, which is what you would expect to hear. But, I was surprised at how kind some of them were to me. Every day when they would leave class some would say, "Thank you". At first it really caught me off guard, and wondered if it was sarcastic, but after awhile I noticed they really meant it. Some of them, on their own time, made me treats and others made the effort to tell me that they appreciated all of the time I spent.

We hear about so many sad and scary things happening with the youth these days, I wanted you to know that I think the majority of them are pretty awesome.

  1. How could they not Thank you! Your the best! It was just a matter of time before they found it out on their own as well. To go along with your last comment, I think we have an extra special group of youth, most credit given to their parents!I am so grateful for the rightous strong youth because they will be the ones here soon inventing and changing things in this crazy world!
